Quinn R. Passey accepts the Frank Kottlowski Memorial Award for his paper on “My Source Rock is Now My Shale-Gas Reservoir – Characterization of Organic-Rich Rocks”. His co-authors were K. Bohacs, R.E. Klimentidis, W.L. Esch, and S. Sinha. They tied for Best Paper with J.A. May and D.S. Anderson, “Mudrock Reservoirs—Why Depositional Fabric and Sequence Stratigraphic Framework Matter.”
